Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist manages full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for Skagit Radiology (WA) and North Star Radiology (AK), including physicians and technicians. This role supports hiring strategies, strengthens the companys employment brand, and ensures a seamless candidate and new hire experience. Reporting to the HR Director, the Specialist develops and implements recruiting processes, fosters employee engagement, and ensures compliance with hiring regulations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Hiring: Lead recruitment efforts, develop long-term strategies to support company growth, and ensure a consistent talent pipeline.
  • Job Postings & Candidate Screening: Create and manage job descriptions, post roles on internal and external platforms, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and verify references.
  • Physician Contracts & Coordination: Work with the CAO, Legal Consultant, and HR Director to draft and manage initial physician contracts. Coordinate radiologist interview logistics, including travel arrangements and interview schedules.
  • Hiring Manager Support: Advise on recruitment policies, best practices, and DEI initiatives to promote inclusive hiring.
  • Talent Metrics & Process Improvement: Track and analyze recruitment data, providing insights to refine hiring efforts and enhance candidate experience.
  • Staffing Agencies & External Partnerships: Serve as the primary contact for staffing agencies, maintain contracts, and represent the organization at job fairs and networking events.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Serve as the primary project management focal for radiologist onboarding, ensuring accurate status tracking and communication across all stakeholders. Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires receive proper training, internal system setup, and a strong first-day experience. Coordinate orientation schedules for physicians, including hospital site orientations.
  • Compliance & HR Systems: Ensure recruiting processes align with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate records in HRIS and conduct audits for compliance.
  • Industry Trends & Best Practices: Stay updated on employment laws, market trends, and new technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Additional HR Support: Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives as needed.

Required Education, Training & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • 25 years of talent acquisition and interviewing experience required, preferably in healthcare.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring best practices.
  • Familiarity with EEO, ADA, and employment laws/regulations.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycom preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of job posting platforms and professional networking sites (e.g., really, LinkedIn).

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to recruitment and onboarding.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  • High level of accuracy in data management, documentation, and compliance tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess candidates, resolve challenges, and make sound hiring decisions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, evolving hiring needs, and industry trends.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role with remote work flexibility; occasional travel to Mt. Vernon, Anacortes, and Bellingham is required to support the hiring process and attend in-person meetings
