What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Skagit Unitarian Universalist Fellowship?
Our ideal candidate will work independently in a small office between eight and twelve hours per week. Membership in our Church is not required but acceptance and respect for all people is expected.
Position responsibilities are:
· Maintain church-specific financial database that tracks pledges, donations and financial transactions;
· Proficiency with MS Office and QuickBooks;
· Pay all Church expenses including employee wages, taxes, speaker fees, dues and utilities;
· Generate and edit a weekly on-line newsletter using Constant Contact template from information provided by members;
· Compose and print weekly Sunday service plan (Order of Service);
· Manage communications, including phone and emails and route to the appropriate recipient as needed;
· Update and maintain church calendar to include services, events and rental usage;
· Print nametags as requested;
· Act as the first contact for rental inquiries, provide forms and forward requests to the rental manager;
· Monitor church supplies and purchase as needed;
· Locate and provide service-related information to members as requested;
· Maintain confidential files and documents;
· Other general duties as directed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
