*Overview*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.
*Responsibilities*
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall development of children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during class.
- Provide care for infants as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
*Qualifications*
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare or nannying is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
