The Business Application Specialist is primarily responsible for owning the lifecycle, usage, and support of assigned applications and systems. This role will provide guidance on how to use an application, as well as provide intermediary-level support (Tier 2 and Tier 3) for assigned applications and systems.
The Business Application Specialist will work with IT and business colleagues to implement, deliver, and maintain a best-practice approach to utilizing assigned applications and systems. This role will also play a central role in the timely resolution of functional support issues, coordinating between IT and business colleagues to ensure proper resolution and escalation of issues as necessary.

Business Applications Specialist Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with enterprise applications and services, particularly related to document management and collaboration. SharePoint experience preferred.
- 1 years of experience in managing software deployment and upgrades.
- 1 years of experience in supporting .NET applications.
- 1 years of experience with database systems used by Document management and collaboration applications (e.g., SQL Server) for managing data storage and retrieval.
- 1 years of experience in providing support of application software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Proficiency in SharePoint workflows.
- Knowledge of server administration for maintaining document management and collaboration servers.
- Understanding of networking concepts to ensure seamless connectivity for cloud services and enterprise servers.
- Bachelor’s Degree – from a four-year college or university or 8 years equivalent experience plus a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
