The Subcontractor Engagement Manager is vital to support our mid-Atlantic region [North Carolina, Virginia and Rockville/D.C.] in establishing and maintaining positive relationships between our organization and the communities we serve. The Governance for the Program is set forth in the USB Subcontractor Engagement Policy, Supplier Diversity Manual, and Project Diversity Compliance Coordinator (“PDCC”) Manual. The Regional Manager Supplier Diversity reports to the National Director and has two important relationships under the Program. First, the Regional Subcontractor Engagement Manager works with the PDCCs, who report to Operations and are responsible for project-level compliance with the Program. Second, the Regional Subcontractor Engagement Manager liaises with the Subcontractor Engagement Regional Directors and to keep them apprised of the compliance status of projects in their regions, and to raise for resolution any potential or actual non-compliances.

Regional Manager Supplier Diversity Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in relevant fields, such as Diverse Business compliance, community outreach, construction operations, employment, or subcontractor management
- Bachelor’s Degree – in accounting/business, contracting, construction management, communications or supply chain management or a related field of study or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
