Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Execute irrigation systems installation and maintenance to ensure proper water distribution.
- Conduct hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Provide tree care services including tree trimming and removal as needed.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas after each job.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of landscape designs as directed by supervisors.
- Monitor plant health and identify any issues related to pests or diseases, reporting them promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
- Familiarity with hardscape materials and installation methods is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and landscaping equipment safely.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
