IT Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist Responsibilities

• Work with IT helpdesk tickets, and engage with the core team to organize the daily activities
• Respond to ticket owners and troubleshoot issues locally in the customer office or remotely as the work requires
• Deploy computers (Windows based) and troubleshot them when necessary, and onboard new and existing employees on company with IT processes, policies, procedures, and technology
• Keep the clients and the environment compliance with updates whenever possible
• Install and maintain printers, even label industrial printers
• Manage and track computers and computer hardware and assign equipment to employees as needed
• Troubleshoot technology hardware (computers, tablets, mobile, printers, network) issues
• Basic understanding of network (pref. Cisco) and server environment (Hyper-V and VMWare)
• Knowledge of industrial automated systems
• Ability to work outside business hours in case of major incidents
• Join the core-team rotating the 24/7 coverage during the customer's high season
• Engage with other IT support vendors and company to escalate network, software, and hardware issues
• Be part of special projects with senior leadership and IT support vendors centered

IT Support Specialist Requirements

• 3 years’ of progressive experience in IT support
• Ability to work with a remote team, and organize the daily task together with the core-team, keeping them updated frequently
• Ability to provide insights, best practices and create actionable items list quickly and effectively
• Great professional communication skills in person, via phone, email, etc.
• Drive to work with automation and improve the customer experience with IT
• Desire of grow in the automation systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
