General Expectations:
The Material Handler I under the moderate supervision of the Team Leader and following instructions as delegated in key areas, will provide assistance to those responsible for key areas. Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for pulling and receiving manufactured parts/raw material into inventory and records data.
Responsible to assist with monthly inventory counts and daily inventory control requirements.
Responsible to complete work assigned in a timely manner.
Prepares and packages finished goods for delivery.
Responsible to assist in reception and examination of materials.
Responsible to immediately report any safety hazards to Supervisor.
Completes all required paperwork that is legible, accurate and uses professional language and meets timelines as prescribed by the Warehouse Team Leader.
Participates in meetings and other activities internal and external to SKC, Inc. Collaborates with management and other support staff as needed; Receives supervision from and actively communicates with the Warehouse Team Leader on an ongoing basis via phone, email, written message.
Essential Qualifications
Education/Credentials/Licensure.
High school diploma.
Experience
Previous manufacture experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and performing repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Must be able to bend and stoop.
Must have manual dexterity in order to move boxes and products.
As a part of the SKC Team, you will also be eligible for up to sixteen (16) days of paid time off (PTO) your first year and every year thereafter consistent with policy. In addition, SKC offers nine (9) paid holidays and one (1) paid floating holiday.
