Drives store profitability by meeting or exceeding sales targets through a clear understanding of the consumer / shopper; supports the District Manager in delivery of the P&L by controlling operational expenses; manages the execution of effective and efficient store processes, with the end goal of providing a leading shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities :
- Takes ownership of the overall store performance and allocates / organizes resources and processes to drive profitability in a variety of situations and market conditions.
- Understands the impact of Retail KPIs and creates action plans around these to directly affect commercial outcomes.
- Has a working knowledge of the store Profit and Loss statement and can make decisions to support the growth of Operating Profit.
- Leads conversations with Back Office team around Category layout and the Shopping journey through an analysis of Sales vs Space.
- Actively stays on top of Consumer Insights and proactively provides the feedback to the Office team to remain close to the consumer.
- Leads the team’s adherence to and implementation of the House of Retail (standards and procedures).
- Key owner of the Back of House maintenance and control.
- Monitors customer satisfaction and feedback to drive continuous improvement in service standards.
- Optimizes inventory management and enhances security in line with company guidelines.
- Leads all People Discipline matters to ensure compliance to company policy.
- Leads all People Development matters, specifically Performance Reviews, Talent Development, and Recruitment / Hiring / On-boarding.
- Continuously sets a culture in pursuit of elevated retail standards through sales floor modelling.
- Inspires the team through being a role model for the Company Values through daily ambassadorship.
