FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full Time

Summary:

Skeletal Dynamics is a fast-growing medical device company located in Kendall, FL, that designs, and markets innovative orthopedic devices sold on a worldwide basis. We are seeking a Manufacturing Tech to operate secondary processing equipment in a production environment for our Strategic Manufacturing Center located in Bonita Springs, FL.

Job Purpose:

Support the manufacture and distribution of products at Skeletal Dynamics Strategic Manufacturing Center – Bonita Springs, FL, while maintaining compliance with regulatory statues and ISO 13485:2016. Supports operations and manufacturing initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operates secondary processing equipment including vibratory finishing, grinding/buffing wheel, laser marking, vapor degreaser.

2. Deburr machined components as required.

3. Assists with assembly, labeling, and packaging.

4. Performs and records line clearance.

5. Performs daily Preventative Maintenance checks on the machines.

6. Assists in other duties as required by management.

7. Maintains a clean work area and practices 5S methodology.

8. Ensures that standards are met, and procedures are followed as required by the Quality System.

9. Recommends process improvements and problem solves.

10. Maintains good quality and production standards.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge and Skills:

· Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others

· Eager and self-motivated learner and can work in a fast-paced environment

· Must have excellent organizational skills

· Able to multi-task and perform other duties as required

· High attention to details with a strong visual acuity

· Basic computer literacy

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to read and write in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
