Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:
- Review set-up and tooling sheet to determine rings and grinding specifications.
- Push/pull tub containing rings on wheeled rack to load area.
- Monitor ring supply and maintain supply as per grinding line requirements.
- Review lot ticket to determine run specifications.
- Set up machines for grinding and honing operation.
- Adjust control panel as per grinding and honing specifications.
- Complete initial run of grinding and honing operations, then gauge work pieces to assure conformance to specifications.
- Inspect rings to ensure quality control.
- Input data and bar codes scrap for records.
- Maintain grinding and honing machines.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and surrounding work area.
- Ensure grind wheels, hone stones and related parts to complete operation are available.
- Train others in Grind and Hone area.
