Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Location: Ski Bluewood, Dayton Washington
Reports To: Director of Marketing / General Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Bluewood, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive resort awareness, attract new guests, and enhance the experience of our visitors. You will work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Manager to support events, website development, email marketing, and more to ensure the resort’s message is effectively communicated across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of seasonal marketing campaigns and promotions for ski and snowboarding programs, events, and activities.
- Marketing Assets: Aid in the creation of compelling marketing assets, including digital ads, email newsletters, blog posts, social content, and print collateral (brochures, posters, etc.).
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing the resort’s social media presence by creating content calendars and scheduling posts, responding to inquiries, and engaging with followers to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Event Marketing: Coordinate marketing efforts for special events, competitions, and seasonal activities (e.g., NYE Celebration, BASH, Skyline Rail Jam, ect.) to drive attendance and participation.
- Market Research: Conduct research on trends in the ski resort industry to identify customer preferences and ensure that marketing strategies are effective and up to date.
- Collaborations: Work with local businesses, tourism boards, influencers and media partners to expand reach and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track the performance of marketing campaigns and provide reports on ROI, engagement, and key metrics to ensure strategies are meeting goals.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials align with the resort's branding, tone, and messaging across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Guest Engagement: Support the development of loyalty programs and initiatives aimed at building long-term relationships with guests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the tourism, hospitality, or outdoor recreation industry.
- Skilled user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Website management, email marketing, and graphic design skills
- Creative and innovative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work as an independent self-starter and as part of a team.
- Available to work from the Mountain 4-5 days a week and the ability to work holidays, weekends, and nights as needed
- Intermediate Skiing or Snowboarding Abilities
· Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, promotional items, event supplies) on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
