JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a committed individual to fill the Parks Maintenance Tech II role, focused on enhancing the visitor experience within our park. Your responsibilities will include supervising, scheduling, and organizing work for assigned staff, assisting with park programs, recreational activities, landscaping, fertilization, herbicide application, erosion control, and performing various maintenance tasks for shelters, water systems, roads, and renovations. This position requires working day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Perform painting and other aesthetic enhancements to maintain facility appearance.
- Supervise maintenance staff during projects, providing leadership and guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption.
