Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to the sales team to ensure they meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor and assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to improve sales results.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales department, including managing customer inquiries, following up on leads, and ensuring the sales process runs smoothly.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, answering questions, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless buying experience.
- Assist the team with closing sales, creating personalized offers, and negotiating terms to close deals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, both new and returning, to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Analyze sales metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies and campaigns that drive traffic and increase sales.
- Ensure the dealership’s vehicles and products are properly displayed, priced, and marketed effectively.
- Organize and lead regular sales meetings, setting clear goals and expectations for the team.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and customer-friendly showroom environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, new products, and customer needs to ensure the dealership remains competitive in the marketplace.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in automotive or marine sales.
- Strong knowledge of the boating industry and products is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be results-driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Previous experience in boat or marine sales is a significant advantage.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
