What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Staffing Coordinator position at Skilled Nursing and Rehab Care?
We are currently hiring for a full time Staffing Coordinator in our nursing department. You will be responsible for the coordination of internal and external staffing resources. Facilitates adquate and equitable staffing of all nursing areas in our multiply service centers. You will complete weekly and pay period payroll for the Nursing Department for all shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate the monthly and daily nursing schedules for all three shifts within required timelines.
- Works with the Nursing Management to assign nursing staff to appropriate areas to meet the facility staffing requirements.
- Coordinates scheduling of agency nursing personnel when all other attempts to staff fail.
- Maintains written documentation and approval of all staff requests for time off or switches in schedule.
- Will be responsible to complete weekly and pay period payroll. Will review daily punch detail and forward corrections to Payroll Department.
- Leads and manages C.N.A. float pool and registry staff to include orientation and training.
- Maintains a call list for nursing department.
- Serves as liaison with external agencies for scheduling of staff.
- Reviews agency invoices to ensure accurate charges.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Two years staffing/payroll experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Prefer advanced knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word processing software.
- Experience with OCP.
