Job Title: In-House Admissions Director
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska

Job Summary
The In-House Admissions Director will work closely with our facility and local medical providers to identify and place individuals in need of skilled nursing services. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, business development expertise, and the ability to drive census growth.
Admissions Director Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the facility’s census by coordinating admissions efficiently
- Establish and nurture relationships with hospitals and referral sources
- Manage the resident referral and approval process
- Oversee the admissions process, including policies, procedures, assessments, and paperwork
- Promote the facility’s positive image to encourage word-of-mouth referrals
- Stay up to date on Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement regulations
- Communicate new admissions' needs to staff to ensure smooth transitions
- Work independently and collaboratively to achieve business goals
Admissions Director Qualifications
- Experience in nursing home admissions
- Community relations preferred
- Strong business development and marketing skills
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
- Ability to implement processes to achieve census goals
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills
