Accounts Receivable Coordinator

A highly rated skilled nursing facility on the South Shore is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator. Accounts Receivable Coordinator Requirements :
Experience with skilled nursing facility billing and collections is preferred
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the processing of accounts receivable, adjustments / refunds, private and third-party agencies, census information, ancillaries, cash deposits, and posting as needed
Communicate with residents and responsible parties at admission and throughout their stay to explain financial obligations and paperwork
Manage and maintain Medicaid Pending accounts
Oversee month-end processes, including triple-checks, ancillary data entry, edits review, and census reconciliation
Manage accounts receivable collections for all due resident accounts and ensure timely filing of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Hospice claims
Provide written Past Due Reports for resident accounts to the Administrator and participate in A / R review meetings
Document collection activities and prepare monthly cash projections
Recommend accounts for external collections, attorney review, or write-offs as applicable
Coordinate documentation for internal and external audits and assist the Administrator and accounting department with resolving G / L variances
Prepare and deposit checks received
Manage Resident Trust Accounts in compliance with state regulations
Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications :
Experience with Point Click Care is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is required
