Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) to maintain high standards of care
- Lead staff education and serve as the Infection Control Officer
- E nsure compliance and foster clear communication with nursing teams
- Meet the medical and nursing needs of all residents
- Plan and coordinate nursing services across the facility
- Stay current with nursing practices and theory
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical documentation
- Assist in the hiring, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staff
- Be adaptable to changing demands and maintain a flexible schedule as needed
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New York
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in long-term care
- 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in staff education is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Work Arrangements:
- Full-time
Compensation:
- $110,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
