Job Overview:
We are currently seeking two Experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis. The Carpenters will TRAVEL FROM CHARLOTTE NC TO ROCK HILL SC site at our client’s location in Charlotte, NC & Rock Hill, SC under the supervision of the on-site superintendent. This is a day shift position and requires 3-5 years of experience in carpentry.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- MUST HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE – a “Can do Attitude”
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise during the construction process
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in carpentry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic math skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Location & Details of Employment:
This is a traveling position: Must be willing to travel from Charlotte, NC to Rock Hill, SC
(You will be traveling between the two Job Sites – Job Site in Conyers & Job Site in Madison)
- Will REQUIRE reliable transportation.
- Job will last 68 weeks.
- The Job Hours are: Nightshift (Monday – Thursday) 10hr Shifts
- MUST HAVE – own Tools & PPE
