Job Overview:
We are currently seeking two Experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis, for the next 6-8 Weeks. This position does require some TRAVEL between CHARLOTTE, NC & ROCK HILL, SC - this project consists of work at six different "Food Lions".
*PLEASE READ: This position is for the NIGHT SHIFT, STARTING AT 8PM and requires 3-5 years of experience in carpentry.*

Roles & Responsibilities:

MUST HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE – a “Can do Attitude”

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
-
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
-
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
-
Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
-
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
-
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
-
Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise during the construction process
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
3-5 years of experience in carpentry
-
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
-
Excellent problem-solving skills
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Basic math skills
-
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Location & Details of Employment:
This is a traveling position: Must be willing to travel from Charlotte, NC to Rock Hill, SC
(You will be traveling between 6 different Food Lions between Charlotte, NC and Rock Hill, SC.)
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

This position is for the "NIGHT SHIFT". You will be starting at 8:00PM, the shift will be 10hrs, Monday through Thursday

This project does REQUIRE reliable transportation. YOU WILL BE PAID FOR ANY TRAVELING THAT YOU DO. You will be paid - $0.50/mile & $10/hr for travel time.
