The Carpenter will work on-site at our client’s location in the Flemming Isle (JAX), FL under the supervision of the on-site superintendent. This is a day shift position and requires 2-3 years of experience in carpentry.

Roles And Responsibilities:
- MUST BE SKILED IN - installing wainscot and shiplap as well as solid surface countertops
- MUST BE ABLE TO: install wood base and wood trim around cased openings
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise during the construction process
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in carpentry
- MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK & WRITE ENGLISH
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic math skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Location & Details of Employment:
This is an on-location job MUST BE: (Flemming Isle/Jacksonville (JAX) FL)
- MUST HAVE – Reliable Transportation
- The Job Hours are: 8AM – 4PM (Possibility of OT)
- MUST HAVE – own Tools & PPE
- MUST BE ABLE – to provide two “Professional References”
