Commercial HVAC Techs

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team for a new construction project in Nashville, TN. This project is expected to last 5-7 months, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 40-50 hours per week. We offer competitive pay up to $42/hr, based on experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians for a new construction project in Nashville, TN. This role involves the installation of commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, rooftop units, and other components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial settings and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and test commercial HVAC systems per project specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Work with sheet metal ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes.

• Collaborate with other trades to maintain workflow and project deadlines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician in a commercial setting.

• Must have own basic hand tools of the trade.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of commercial ductwork, piping, and rooftop unit installations.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders/lifts as needed.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred but not required).
