Production Blender

Job Summary

We are seeking Candidates for the city of Rancho Dominguez for the first shift from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Duties

• Responsible for the accurate formulation of all production lots
• Safely and accurately clean, set up, load and operate a variety of blending equipment, pumps and scales
• for product formulations
• Read and follow directions on Work Order, Bill of Lading or Batch Ticket
• Weigh out and mix exact amounts of chemicals according to specific formulas while monitoring
• (verifying) product output from mixing equipment operations
• Calibrate, operate, and monitor all formulation-related equipment (such as scales, meters, etc.)
• Coordinate quality control approval of completed products
• Transfer completed products to designated storage or shipping containers or delivery equipment
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a clean and orderly manner and in safe and proper operating
• condition
• Assist receiving, shipping, labeling or packaging personnel as directed or needed
• Attend/complete all required training when scheduled
• Represent the Company in a professional manner
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Observe and follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment for position.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
• Possess good organizational skills to be able to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, including upper management
• Possess high standard of work ethics to ensure confidentiality of Company information
• Familiarity with or handling of chemicals and hazardous materials
• Ability to read and complete shipping papers
• Ability to operate machinery and forklift.

• Morning shift
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Compton, CA 90221: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
