Description
Responsible for the training, development, evaluationand direct supervision of all program leaders,Assistant Director and Counselors in Training (CIT's). Responsible for the overall Elementary Sports Camp program and the supervision and safety of all campers.Plans the daily camp activities which may include team building activities, volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, archery, games, activities,swimming and more.Plans field trips along with theAthletics Supervisor which may include professional baseball games, bowling, ice skating, golf,andother local field trips.Plans parent night activities. Maintains accurate records and reports. Responsible for ensuring that camp supplies are on hand and stored and put away at the end of the camp day.
Qualifications
Must be a responsible, mature adult, at least 21 years of age and have experience working with school-age children. Degree in Physical Education, Parks and Recreation or related field preferred. Elementary Education teaching experience is a plus. Prior summer camp work experience preferred. Must possess excellent leadership, organizational skills, communication skills and presentation skills. Must have a love for being outdoors and sports.
Camp Dates: June 9, 2025, and runs through Friday, August 1, 2025.
Salary : $20 - $22
