The Role:
Sky Climber of Hawaii is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Director of Operations to oversee the daily functions of our equipment rental business. In this role, you will:
- Oversee rental and return documentation to ensure seamless transactions.
- Manage scheduling and equipment orders to align with project needs.
- Support the Operations Manager in managing project calendars and daily activities.
- Handle customer onboarding and maintain proper documentation, including insurance COIs and contractor licensing.
- Track invoices and coordinate with accounting to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer relations, providing top-tier service and addressing inquiries.
- Conduct weekly team huddles and meetings, ensuring alignment on key initiatives.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment to support business operations.
- Update and manage project details in our CRM, ensuring accuracy in project tracking and customer engagement.
- Coordinate IT support for office and shop equipment, ensuring all systems operate efficiently.
- Oversee quarterly reporting and end-of-year equipment orders for operational planning.
- Monitor equipment inventory and recommend improvements in tracking.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Customer service excellence—you're the first point of contact for clients and must ensure a seamless experience.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of scheduling, documentation, and equipment tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and rental management software (training provided if needed).
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot operational challenges efficiently.

- Strong written and oral communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Intermediate Excel skills for reporting and operational analysis.
