Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and prepare journal entries as needed.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits administration, and accounts receivable.
- Utilize financial software, including PetTiger and Datatech, to manage payroll data efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payroll expenses.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate benefits administration and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role in corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and practices related to payroll processing.
- Proficiency in financial software applications; experience with PetTiger and Datatech is a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
