Role Overview:
As an A&P Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet. You’ll handle both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that all work meets FAA regulations. Your expertise will be essential to our operation, directly impacting the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on single- and multi-engine piston aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and avionics.
- Conduct repairs on engines, propellers, landing gear, and other components.
- Ensure all maintenance complies with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Document maintenance and repairs per FAA guidelines.
- Verify aircraft are safe and ready for flight before customer release.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and staff to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Valid A&P Mechanic certificate.
- Preferred 3 years of experience in general aviation, particularly with piston engines.
- Familiarity with Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper, and Cirrus aircraft is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Avionics experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
Compensation:
- $30 - $35 per hour for A&P-certified mechanics.
- Around $25 per hour for candidates with relevant experience but without an A&P license.
