Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various aircraft systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems, including airframes, engines, and avionics.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accurate measurements.
- Perform repairs using welding techniques and soldering for electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of aircraft components as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software for design modifications is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and safety standards in aviation maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
