Safety Coordinator

Safety Compliance:

· Conducting Road Test

· Accident Data Entry

· Weather Monitoring for their own fleet

· Responsible to place their drivers in their fleet on a stop dispatch due Safety Internal Stop Dispatch (Citations, Inspections, ELD malfunctions, accidents/incidents, injuries, HOS, CTPAT violations , etc)

· Responsible for notifying drivers of clean and failed inspections/citations

· Follow up on drivers that they pay their citations

· Involve Safety Director for high level safety issues or for disciplinary actions on their drivers

Equipment Compliance:

· Equipment Recalls per truck in fleet

· DVIRs- responsible for making sure the DVIR is done for their truck in their fleet

· Handling of all ELD Malfunctions and providing follow up with the shop and operations

· Fix Samsara Cameras in trucks in fleet

· Troubleshoot tablets with Wifi issues

· Monitor Samsara alerts per fleet

· TSI/ 60/90 inspections

Driver Relations:

· Prepare truck for new hires and that truck is ready for the road

· Conduct Orientation according to normal schedule

· On call for accidents reporting/ On Call for ELD Tablet Issues/ Weather

· Assist Drivers with Review/Audit/Fix- H.O.S/Unassigned Driver Events/ELD Issues/ Audit PC Miles

· Train drivers on HOS issues

· Monitoring drivers on Idelic and their scores, and placing in training programs as needed and completing all the task

· Safety items in 90 day program will be assigned to each safety leader.

· Involve Safety Director for high level safety issues or for disciplinary actions on their drivers

· Samsara training in orientation in accordance to their assigned fleet manager

· Assigning training videos for any safety training for drivers in fleet and issue out any coaching documents

· Conduct safety training rides per fleet

· Notify drivers of hazardous weather

· Record Drivers Weather Pay

· Gate Passes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
