This is a full-time on-site role for a STA/Synthesis Engineer located in San Jose, CA. The STA/Synthesis Engineer will be responsible for performing static timing analysis, developing synthesis scripts, and optimizing design for performance, area, and power. The role will involve close collaboration with design and verification teams to ensure design closure and compliance with timing constraints. Additional tasks may include RTL coding, DFT insertion, and working on design methodologies.
- Experience with Static Timing Analysis (STA) tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in synthesis tools and scripting (e.g., Synopsys Design Compiler, TCL)
- Strong understanding of digital design and RTL coding skills
- Knowledge of DFT techniques and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience with place and route tools is a plus
