We're seeking an experienced Assistant Chief to join our operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our instructors, ensuring they meet our high standards of excellence. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the training activity records and program changes for students in the groups assigned.
• Develop and maintain program of training courses as required.
• Conduct Stage Checks and other evaluations of students and instructors as required.
• Conducting flight training in accordance with FARs and SAA course outline or contract training course, as applicable.
• Manage assigned students' training within syllabus and the schedule.
• Participate in supporting and promoting the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety related issues via the feedback system, and adhere to the processes related to accomplishing SMS goals.
• Reporting to Chief Flight Instructor assigned students that are marginal and need improvement.
• Other duties, responsibilities and tasks assigned by the Chief Flight Instructor.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 500 hours of dual given instructional experience.
• Experience with FAA 141 Training in Managerial, Assistant Chief or Chief roles within the last two years.
• Recency of experience in accordance with FAR 61.57.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary range $75,000 to $90,000.
