Experienced Forklift Driver
2nd Shift 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday - Friday
Some overtime on Saturdays required
$19.00 per hour $1.50 per hour shift differential

The Material Handler shares in the overall responsibilities and mission of the Material Handling Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Accurately receive in sheet stock orders paying close attention to those orders that require inspections.
• Store received sheets in a manner that any single order is consolidated into a single bin location to ensure any single sheet order is not stored across multiple bin locations.
• Verify that sheet trailers and sheet units are free of contamination per BRC guidelines and are free of damage and defects, reporting any infractions to leadership accordingly.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
• Ability to operate and understand the operational limits of fork trucks and forklift safety.
• Able to pass internal forklift certification program.
• Knowledge of equipment and methods to conduct day-to-day inspection of forklift.
• Able to use Microsoft applications, such as Microsoft Outlook for sending and receiving emails.
• Knowledge and use of Amtech system a plus.
• Ability to scan unit tags and bin location tags with the use of RFID scan gun.
• Experience working in an environment of unitized/skid-level handling, required.
• Packaging industry experience (paperboard and/or corrugated) is a plus.
• Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy and organizational skills a plus.

• The responsibilities of this role are performed Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
• Bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, ability to replace propane fuel tank.
• Sitting for extended periods of time while operating a forklift.
This role is a member of the Material handling team and as such should support the mission and occasionally help with the following:
Material Handling Team Summary of Responsibilities:
1. Work as a team
2. Cross-train into other Material Handler roles
3. Pick orders
4. Unload/Load trucks promptly and on time, including sheet material, to minimize wait times according to goals and metrics determined by the Distribution Team
5. When unloading a truck, check for damages (good looking units when unloaded)
6. Keep stock in dock
7. Place item(s) on pallet correctly and safely
8. Put away raw materials with care
9. Scan all movements of materials
10. Scan materials into proper locations
11. Receiving finished goods
12. Keep all paperwork in order and submitted as instructed
13. Maintain and store stock in a prompt, safe, and efficient manner
14. Organize warehouse stock
15. Ensure that forklift trucks and semi-tractors and trailers are properly working; communicate tractor-trailer issues to Transportation Supervisor
16. Perform housekeeping on a continuous basis to ensure a clean and safe working environment
17. Identify and suggest ways to improve cycle time, reduce errors, or reduce the cost of processing (minimize touches)
18. Set up next shift for success by ensuring correct trailers are in the dock area and machines are loaded properly to reduce downtime
