**Position Type:** Part-time, Full-time, Practicum, Internship W-2

- Clientele would include adults and children (ages 10 and up) with supervision included for both and at a weekly outpatient level of care with private insurance as well as Molina and Medicaid. We do not provide crisis counseling or phone-based brief services. This is clinical mental health counseling role which can include individual, family, or couples therapy hours. Typically 53 to 60 minutes long with client sessions focusing on individualized treatment plans.
- Balance for your work day is built in with discussions around ideal scheduling, preferences are considered,, Aunt caseload sizes for full-time are manageable around 25 clients per week. Part-Time is up to 29 hours and that includes required meeting, staffings, and at 90 days after the probationary period, the provider can receive up to five monthly no-show/late cancel waivers (for FTE).
- Treatment providers will complete clinical assessments, assign diagnoses, staff cases, explore the nuances of mental health treatment and diagnosis, participate in educational trainings and development, receive clinical supervision and work as a member of a small but cohesive team.
- Work alongside a nurse practitioner who provides medication management to clients and have an opportunity to staff cases with other like-minded individuals.
- Clinical supervision is provided weekly with clinical team staffing
- Receive clinical supervision from a Washington approved clinical supervisor who holds a PhD in counselor education and supervision and actively works as an educator in the field of clinical mental health counseling. Has 12 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings working with both adults and children.
- Work with a child mental health specialist supervisor which can also help you earn a child mental health specialist status with 100 hours of clinical supervision and 100 educational hours gained independently in Washington State.
- Receive ongoing feedback to continue, develop and hone your practice. Understand ethical and legal considerations and client care. Explored treatment options from a safe and non-judgmental growth-oriented space.
- Meet the highest standards of care for outpatient mental health counseling with Sky bridge as a department of health approved mental health agency that adheres to both clinical standards of professionalism and quality care as well as state and legal adherence.
- Avoid potential ethical and legal pitfalls, especially as a new provider in the field. The intent of an associate license is to receive clinical supervision and feedback under the guidance and protections of a licensed provider. Feel confident in your decision making by not making those decisions alone for longevity in the field and to reduce risk of burnout and compassion fatigue.

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide counseling services to clients using evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Participate in weekly clinical meetings and collaborative team activities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Maintain a commitment to social justice and diversity in all aspects of client care.
- Timely documentation and follow-up. Client documentation is to be completed within 24 hours of service appointment.

**Qualifications:**
- Relevant degree In clinical mental health counseling, or a counseling program (for practicum/internship positions). Social work degrees and experience are also considered with counseling experience.

**Benefits:**

**Compensation:**
- **Hourly Pay:** Paid bi-weekly.
- **Part-time:** Hourly rate with potential yearly pay ranging from $20,000 to $40,000, depending on hours worked.
- **Full-time:** Hourly rate with potential yearly pay ranging from $40,000 to $85,000, depending on hours worked.
**Internship Opportunities:**
We are currently accepting 1-2 intern placements for CMHC practicum or internship. This is a paid internship opportunity under the supervision of Dr. Hoover, an approved supervisor in WA.
