Key Responsibilities
- Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost control
- Develop and execute seasonal and event-driven menus
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Supervise and train culinary team in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and storage
- Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness standards
- Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and labor management
- Foster a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture
- Attend regular operations meetings and collaborate across departments
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a full-service hotel or resort
- Food service certification required
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs independently
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food allergies, plating standards, and culinary trends
