The SkyGrid team is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our growing local and remote team. In this role you will be responsible for creating an exceptional employee experience through the entire employee lifecycle. This person will closely collaborate with other departments to enhance employee engagement and ensure a positive culture.
\n- Prioritize the employee experience by identifying improvements in current processes and procedures.
- Develop and improve upon current project coordination
- Conduct new hire onboarding activities including background, orientation, coordination with hiring manager to ensure the employee has a great experience and is set up for success.
- Audit and reinforce compliance training for all employees
- Support People Operations team with Ad hoc deliverables
- Act as the point of contact for employees, regarding questions, concerns and all things HR.
- Conduct employee experience surveys, focus groups and other initiatives to gather insight and identify areas of improvement.
- Coordinate and manage team building activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure policies and practices reinforce company values.
- Assist recruiting team and hiring managers with resume reviews and interview coordination.
- Create enticing job postings that will attract top tier talent.
- Conduct onboarding activities including new hire documentation, background checks and orientation. Team up with hiring managers to ensure smooth and successful onboarding experience
- Maintain employee records.
- Assist with benefits, payroll, time-tracking and other HR related systems.
- Oversee and assign compliance training for all employees. Identify and recommend new training opportunities.
- Monitor key metrics including time to fill, and retention.
- Consistently look for ways to enhance current processes, policies and procedures.
- Be the trusted employee advocate ensuring all concerns and suggestions are handled in a timely manner.
- Report to SkyGrid HQ on a Hybrid schedule
- Minimum of 3 years of HR/People Ops experience
- Basic knowledge of HR compliance and practices
- Be able to uphold high levels of confidentially
- Be approachable, empathetic, and patient
- Prior experience in a fast paced, always evolving start-up environment
- Be adaptable and open to change
- Experience with HRIS tools
- SHRM or PHR certification
