Skyhawks Sports Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated volleyball coach to join our team for our summer volleyball camp. Our program is designed for children aged 4-12 who are interested in developing their volleyball skills. As a volleyball coach, you will be responsible for providing a positive and engaging environment that helps our young campers build a solid foundation in volleyball while having fun.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fun and engaging volleyball activities for children aged 4-12
- Teach basic volleyball skills and techniques to children, focusing on passing, setting, hitting, serving, and teamwork
- Provide a positive and safe environment for all campers
- Foster a love of volleyball and encourage teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with campers and their families
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
- Passion for volleyball and working with children aged 4-12
- Previous experience coaching volleyball, preferably with children of various ages and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check
