About the Company:

BESE Holding, Inc., Bountiful Enterprises, LLC and Skyhook Erecting, LLC are a group of companies that do business as Bountiful Steel; a fast-growing, forward-looking organization that engineers, fabricates, ships, and erects structural steel for large scale buildings, warehouses, schools, etc. in multiple states. A team of 80 plus employees and several contractors, work together to ensure the success of the organization.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-directed, highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our accounting and finance functions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the timely preparation of financial reports. You will play a vital role in supporting our business strategy and contribute to the company's financial health and strategic goals by providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support informed decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning.

Accounting Operations:

• Oversee the accounting department's operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Compliance and Audits:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Contribute to the development and training of accounting staff.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in strategic planning and financial decision-making.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a financial controller role, preferably in the fabrication or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., Microsoft 365, Excel, Access, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Helpful Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
