Job Title: Preschool and Toddler Teachers
Starting this September, Skylark Children’s Academy is on the lookout for enthusiastic and visionary teachers to join our team and lead our launch. Set within a custom-built, expansive 9,800 sq foot facility and a sprawling 12,000 sq foot play yard, Skylark will be a brand-new preschool on West-side Bend serving students ages 12 months through 5 years.

Designed for optimum functionality, each classroom provides students with direct playground and bathroom access. Be a part of a project from the ground up and contribute to the creation of an exceptional educational setting.
Pioneer Our Launch: Join Skylark at an exciting phase as we prepare to open our doors this fall, becoming the largest preschool in Bend. As preschool teachers, you'll play a pivotal role in executing the school's vision, curriculum, classroom set up, and overall educational experience. Help set the stage for a positive and exciting learning environment for both students and families.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages positive social interactions among children.
Establish and maintain open communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect by celebrating diversity and teaching children to appreciate and respect differences among themselves and others.
Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and implementing proper sanitation practices.
Serve as a positive role model for children, demonstrating kindness, patience, and empathy in all interactions.
Ideal Qualifications:
1 years teaching in an early childhood education setting
Strong knowledge of early childhood education best practices
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for young children
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and a commitment to treating coworkers with respect and professionalism
Compensation:
Our competitive compensation package includes the following:
- Pay range of $20 - $25 per hour
