Graphics Production Technician (1st & 2nd Shifts)

Position Title: Graphics Production Technician

Department: Graphic Manufacturing

Group/Division: Manufacturing

Reports to (Title): Manufacturing Supervisor

1st Shift - 7am to 3:30pm

2nd Shift - 2pm to 10:30pm

Summary

Responsible for assisting with the varied duties related to printing and creating graphics and finished

products. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn skills used to manufacture fabric, inkjet, board mount,

laminated, and routed graphics, both backlit and opaque graphics of all sizes.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Read and interpret relevant information from production orders.

• Responsible for final accuracy/quality check of graphics product against the work order (i.e.

color, size, proper finish, etc.).

• May be asked to assist in other areas as required by the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Detail orientation, organization and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively independently and with others in a team environment.

• Ability to read and understand production orders.

• Basic math, computer and counting skills

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Complete products accurately while meeting company standards

• Handles change quickly and effectively

Minimum Education/Certification

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum Experience

• 0-1 year basic light assembly experience.

Equipment and Supplies Used

• Personal computer, including MRP

• Dye sublimation and inkjet printers and transfer machines

• Laminators, and large format cutter

• Sewing machines

• Bannerstands and hardware assembly

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally

• Standing and walking 80% of the time. Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling on a

regular basis.
