Job Summary
- To execute Harley-Davidson and Dealership marketing strategy locally.
- To coordinate and execute marketing programs and events specific to Skyline Harley-Davidson that align with corporate objectives and strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with marketing team to plan dealer and factory events in line with department sales goals.
Plan and coordinate event details and execute on-site events in partnership with departments.
Coordinate and display on-site promotional materials, including both dealer and factory promotional materials.
Maintain consistent branding within the showroom and departments.
Coordinate and maintain event supplies.
Communicate with staff for event details and event promotion to maximize the impact of events and keep branding and goals consistent.
Maintain contact list and relationships with outside groups, clubs, vendors, bands, & food trucks
Act as a liaison for the local HOG chapter: attend meetings, coordinate HOG volunteers at dealer events, keep HOG chapter informed of dealership event details. (HOG = Harley Owners Group)
Plan, coordinate and execute up to 2-3 promotional off-site events/month.
Act as community relations liaison, and maintain relationships with local non-profits, city/county officials, and businesses.
Coordinate sponsorships.
Requirements:
Must be available Saturdays and some evenings (with advance notice)
Must be friendly and excited to be in a front facing role
Natural relationship and community builder
Detail oriented
Knowledge of basic spreadsheets.
Harley-Davidson owner/rider a big plus!
Initials “KC” a big plus
Must own a sweet, older, large breed dog and prefer dogs to cats
Other duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Maintain a clear understanding of marketplace and competitive marketplace within region of responsibility. Provide this information to Director/GM’s when requested.
- Responsible for the onsite implementation of the dealership’s marketing plan; also maintain routine updates of the marketing plan.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the dealer’s marketing, advertising, and public relations activities.
- Maintain dealer website, including motorcycle inventory management, inventory pictures, other content as needed.
- Social media content management and creation, i.e., customer pictures on FB
- Work with department managers to create monthly promotions.
- Create weekly customer newsletter.
- Organize community events for the dealership such as fashion shows, open houses, motorcycle rides and charity events.
- Attend, set-up, work and manage all local on-site and off-site events and promotions.
- Provide all event details and contracts to Director/GM to ensure all legal and insurance issues are approved.
- Manage with GM/Director the annual marketing budget and regularly monitor expenditures.
- Monitor and analyze marketing promotions/event results to determine effectiveness of each promotion and provide post event analysis to Director/GM.
- Provide updates and content to social marketing, websites, and other channels where applicable.
- Conduct market research activities and analysis and establish data management to improve the dealer’s marketing efforts.
- Update POP daily and execute required photos for manufacturers.
- Other duties as assigned. i.e., maintain vending machine
Accounting
- Will get all expenses approved first by Director/GM prior to commitment. Once approval is given all PO’s must be entered in a timely manner.
- Responsible for organizing, verifying, and working with marketing account coordinator to submit all payables to corporate by months end.
- Getting all required documentation and verification to process co-op in a timely manner.

Experience:
· Previous experience in a similar role or related fields (preferred).
· Knowledge of basic computer programs (email, web, spreadsheets, etc.) and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
· Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred. Google Sheets is a plus! Google Docs is a plus! Microsoft Teams is a plus! We are using Teams for all our projects! Google Analytics is a plus!
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Self-motivated with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Professionalism and good judgement along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This position will require travel between our office locations in Skyline Harley-Davidson and our customer locations in the surrounding area. This job will also require that you be able to lift to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time at work, sit on your feet for long periods of time, climb stairs frequently throughout the day, and be able to read and write in cursive handwriting.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
