We have an opening for Full-Time (40Hrs) Custodian.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager, Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and tidy hospital environment. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7pm-3:30am
EDUCATION BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
· Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
· Must be able to speak, read and understand English
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Supports hospital mission and strategic vision; manages hospital resources appropriately; complies with hospital policies and programs; maintains skill levels, licenses, and certifications; complies with all state and federal compliance and HIPAA requirements; keeps lines of communication open between self and other hospital personnel; competent with computer programs, excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Floor Maintenance
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Vacuuming
- Shampoo Carpets
- Wax Floors
- Clean scuff marks.
2. Assist evening housekeepers, as needed.
- Trash
- Dusting
- Laundry
3. Equipment
- Properly care for all floor equipment.
- Clean & Store.
- Communicate with Maintenance on needed repairs.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.09 - $23.66 per hour
