Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our travel team. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various procedures related to cardiovascular health, such as angiograms and cardiac catheterizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate medical imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any changes in their condition
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain patient records and update them as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in emergency situations
