We are excited to have you join our team as a Part Time Rehabilitation Therapist (OT) at Skyline Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center! As a member of our dedicated rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating residents to improve their ability to perform daily living activities, enhance their independence, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
- Developing and executing individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities
- Providing therapy interventions, including training in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive devices
- Collaborating with the care team, residents, and families to establish and support therapy goals
- Educating residents and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies and techniques to enhance independence
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
