Skyline technology services is seeking an experienced and skilled “Warehouse Manager” to oversee our warehouse operations in Jacksonville, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including supervising the staff, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations.
Location: Jacksonville, Florida.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Driving license.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role in a warehouse or fulfillment center is a plus.
- Experience in e-commerce or Amazon FBA operations is a significant plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping to Amazon fulfillment centers and customers.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels, track product movements, and perform regular stock counts.
- Develop and implement processes to increase warehouse efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize operational costs.
- Monitor and maintain safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer orders, in line with company delivery targets.
- Coordinate the unloading, sorting, and stocking of incoming shipments from suppliers.
- Provide training and development opportunities for warehouse staff to enhance their skills and ensure ongoing performance improvement.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise with inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations, resolving them in a timely and effective manner.
