Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to drive the strategic execution of our field operations across multiple regions. This role requires a strong foundation in operational management within the renewable energy sector, combined with a deep understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to ensure continuous improvement. The VP of Operations will not only manage the operational efficiency but also oversee a team of project managers, instilling best practices that enhance productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  Develop and execute long-term operational strategies that align with SkyMast Energy's goals, ensuring scalability and sustainability in our wind energy services.
• Operational Excellence:
  Implement Lean/Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement across all levels of operations, focusing on maximizing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall performance.
• Project Oversight:
  Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, ensuring the successful execution of field projects from planning through completion. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality results.
• ISO Standards & HSE Compliance:
  Maintain and continuously improve compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards, integrating safety, quality, and environmental management into daily operations. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and internal policies.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  Act as a strategic partner to key customers, presenting data-driven insights and maintaining transparency in all aspects of safety and operational reporting. Lead efforts to manage and improve customer safety programs, including Avetta and ISNet.
• Technician Development:
  Oversee comprehensive training programs for Global Wind Organization (GWO)-certified technicians, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for safe, efficient performance in the field.
• Incident Management & Continuous Improvement:
  Lead investigations into operational incidents using 4D analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Promote a culture of safety and quality through proactive problem-solving and process optimization.
• Quality Assurance & Audits:
  Lead quality assurance initiatives, including onsite safety visits, internal audits, and customer compliance audits. Ensure that all processes meet high standards of quality, safety, and industry best practices.
• Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
  Oversee logistics coordination, vendor relationships, and the supply chain, ensuring seamless support for field operations and project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within renewable energy or a related industry. Strong background in managing multiple projects and operational teams across diverse locations.
• Certifications & Skills:

• • Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and HSE compliance standards.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to lead and mentor project managers.

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Additional Skills:
  Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Proven ability to build and foster relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Experience in managing complex safety programs, conducting audits, and ensuring high levels of operational performance.
