Your day as an Operations Support Specialist II

As an Operations Support Specialist II at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you will excel in managing email communications, ensuring our members receive timely and informative responses. You will oversee the monitoring and processing of new accounts through our online membership channel, while expertly establishing business accounts and performing necessary maintenance. Proficient in converting to trust accounts, you will handle special accounts, including Representative Payee, Estates, and Conservator Guardianships.

Additionally, you will assist joint owners and trustees with deceased accounts while outlining the benefits of retaining accounts with us. Your skills will extend to processing IRA transactions, including contributions, withdrawals, and required minimum distributions, along with managing incoming mail for the Operations Support Department. Your role is essential in providing a rewarding, effortless experience for our members while upholding SkyOne's core values of performance, accountability, and integrity.

Requirements for this Operations Support Specialist II job

To thrive as an Operations Support Specialist II at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, a strong set of skills is essential. Proficiency in email management is crucial, as you will be responsible for responding to inquiries within established timeframes, overseeing the email queue, and addressing member service requests. You must be adept at using tools like DocuSign to facilitate online membership applications and managing specific account changes, such as adding or removing joint owners and beneficiaries. Expertise in processing IRA accounts-including withdrawals, contributions, and required minimum distributions-is necessary, along with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation for tax forms.

Additionally, you will require strong organizational skills to monitor incoming applications, manage deceased accounts, and follow up on outstanding notifications. A commitment to member confidentiality and compliance with regulations like BSA and OFAC will also be critical in maintaining the integrity and performance of our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum two (2) years financial institution's experience.
• Minimum two (2) years in a financial institution working Operations.
• Demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members and fellow employees, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent follow through skills.
• Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize assignments and ability to work independently
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Windows, spreadsheet preparation, and hands-on Internet experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Working ability to use various systems simultaneously.
