Skytech, Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structural Technician to join our team. This position is a key member of a three- to five-person crew, responsible for performing structural evaluations and repairs in accordance with SRM standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering to ensure best practices while maintaining safety, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural evaluations, repairs, inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations as directed by the Team Leader.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, Skytech’s Repair Station Manual, and FAA regulations.
- Properly document completed work, parts used, parts requested, and on-the-job training received.
- Maintain an accurate record of time worked on jobs in progress.
- Stay up to date with airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and related guidance.
- Promote company policies and teamwork within the department and organization.
- Be available for overtime or off-site work as needed.
- Provide and maintain a personal toolbox with professional-quality tools.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, including work orders, tags, timecards, parts requests, and training forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in aircraft structural maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering instructions, and repair specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must provide own professional-quality tools.
- Willingness to work overtime or travel as needed.
