As an Installation Technician, you will:
- Perform onsite installations for Skytron's architectural product portfolio, including the installation of doors, windows, wall systems, ceilings, and specialty finishes
- Coordinate with site personnel and external contractors to verify project site readiness, structural and dimensional requirements, product delivery, and safe movement of materials to the designated worksite
- Inspect and test installed equipment ensuring dimensional, airflow, and load-bearing compliance
- Serve as a resource for customer equipment issues, providing end-user equipment training in the field and remote technical support and diagnostics, where appropriate
- Maintain regular, timely communications with customers and key stakeholders regarding the status of installation projects, customer issues, and equipment issues
- Maintain factory certifications and proficiency on serviced product lines
- Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner, including service work orders, expense reports, preventative maintenance, installation documents, site, and service documentation
- Be required to travel up to 75 percent of the time

- Be flexible in working hours, including mandatory overtime on short notice and/or weekends, as needed
- Possess a working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting, and units of measure
- Be able to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site drawings, without assistance
- Have previous experience with measuring tools, power tools, and installation techniques specific to architectural products
- Maintain a good driving record and valid driver's license
- Have a HS Diploma or GED. An Associate's degree in electronics or a combination of education and experience in an electronics-related field is strongly preferred
- Posses 3-5 years of experience working in industrial construction (strongly preferred)
- Have previous experience and demonstrated success executing projects with defined milestones
