WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Sales Support/Administrative Assistant to join our sales team. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales and will assist in various sales-related administrative activities.
This position will be based at our headquarters in Commerce Township, MI.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the VP of Sales with managing daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, email correspondence, customer communications, and maintaining records.
- Serve as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and the design approval team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Organize and manage customer correspondence, including follow-ups, proposal updates, and design approvals.
- Track and update sales data, reports, and documentation in CRM systems (improveit 360).
- Support project management activities, working closely with the VP of Sales and General Manager to facilitate project milestones.
- Assist in coordinating call center operations during high-demand periods, including scheduling appointments and managing inquiries.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for sales meetings and training sessions.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the sales department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer service role.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend work during busy seasons.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
