About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Planning Manager to join our team at Skywalk Group in Hampshire, IL.
This role will involve developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a collaborative team to negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and optimize inventory levels.
- Coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning sales, finance, and production teams to balance demand and inventory.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions and drive cost savings.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing procurement, including expertise in purchasing, pricing negotiations, vendor management, production planning, and team leadership.
- 4 years of experience in the animal health and food grade industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
